Chris Powell, I understand what you’re saying about “the powerful social stigma that works against such anti-social conduct.” And I do agree that a stigma is used to contain this type of social conduct. I also believe that even though the “social disintegration” is an obvious degeneration of our culture, there might be an underlying reason for its ravenous discharge into our society. It may be closely akin to another plight that has ravaged our culture, and again it’s part of the Social Services family.
This one is called Mental Health and Addiction Services. I’m certain that socialism is the underlying reason for this voracious degeneration, and if you think about it, the fact that there are so many people affected by this malignance, as it strengthens the need for these social programs. I also contend that many of these people are victims that were chosen to be where they are for a whole slew of reasons, but what it really boils down to is the ones selected to be in this state of hopelessness are merely building blocks to a system that’s used to serve a variety of functions.
If you accost a CEO of a major corporation and you ask him, “What do you think of socialism?” He might say that he’s against it for the same reasons that I might give, but if you show him how this system can be used to increase his bottom line, then he might endorse the system making it that much harder to rescue these victims from the hopeless bondage of socialism. Now he reads the paper shakes his head and comments on the sad state of our country, without the slightest thought about his involvement in the perpetual subjugation of this “social disintegration”.
